Step 1:
Scroll down to the “Databases” section.
Note: Databases cannot be created with phpMyAdmin. This must be done from the MySQL Databases page.
Step 2:
Click the “phpMyAdmin” icon.
Step 3:
Select your database.
Note:
If there are no tables in the database, create one.
Step 4:
Give the new table a name.
Step 5:
Enter how many fields the table should have.
Step 6:
Press the enter key on your keyboard.
Note: For this example the table will contain users of the website. It will have 2 fields, a username and an email address.
Step 7:
Start with a field name.
Step 8:
Set the maximum length allowed for the username field in the “Lengths/Values” space.
Step 9:
Click the first radio button to make this field the primary field of the table.
Step 10:
Repeat the process for the second field.
Step 11:
Press the enter key on your keyboard.
The table has now been created.
You can also import a pre-existing table into the database.
Step 1:
Click the “Import” tab.
Step 2:
Click the “Browse…” button and find the SQL file on your local machine.
Step 3:
Click the file you wish to import.
Step 4:
Click the “Open” button.
Step 5:
Press the enter key on your keyboard.
The table has now been imported.
To take a look at the table, click the link for it on the left.

Click the “Browse” tab.

Here you will find the contents of the table.
Note:
If you want to delete a row, just click the red “X”.
Step 3:
Click the “Okay” button to confirm deletion.
